Moody 54 - "Blue"

Winning a coveted British Nautical Award, the Moody 54 is a powerful yacht with ease of handling. Safe and strong, yet light enough to maintain optimum performance, "Blue" has been designed without compromise and combines effortless sailing with luxury. Elegantly appointed throughout, the raised saloon in "Blue" is a delight. Spacious and warm, with central heating, she has an inviting interior with natural light flooding in through large windows. There are up to seven comfortable berths, with three generously proportioned private cabins.

Spacious, craftsman-built and extraordinarily well maintained this thoroughbred yacht with its large fly bridge, luxurious saloon and extensive galley is perfect for corporate charter. Adorned with a state-of-the-art navigation station and boasting the highest specification safety equipment.

Fast but certainly not furious, the twin turbo 680HP V8 engines can whisk you along at a maximum speed of 18 knots while maintaining a stable platform for your party. There is sufficient space to eat indoors or ‘alfresco’, and six berths in three cabins with en-suite facilities. You may even be tempted to try the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for some underwater exploration from the comfort of the deck.

Bavaria 44 - "Pamina"

A very comfortable and capable, teak-decked, blue-water yacht, with a superb turn of speed. Below decks, the 3 double cabins, twin heads layout and the spacious mahogany saloon allow ample space for her fortunate occupants. On deck the cockpit is large and roomy and the built-in table allows lunch to be taken outside – in fact it was large enough for a wedding ceremony! Under sail, she comes into her own, with great windward performance and stability and with her twin wheels, she never fails to provide a great day’s sailing.

Other Yachts

We also have a range of fine 40 foot yachts from European manufacturers such as Bavaria, Jeanneau, Hanse and GibSea. These are all maintained to our exacting standards with safety and comfort at the forefront of our minds. They can be sailed with a small group and yet are great fun with larger groups who may want several yachts creating a more competitive element to the day. Lunch times can be fun with the yachts rafted-up and the whole group coming together again, sharing stories, over a drink, of the morning’s sail and guessing who might be fastest back to base.

All our modern yachts comply with the rigorous Maritime Coastguard Agency Code of Practice for commercial vessels. In addition, the yachts are specifically equipped for sailing in Scottish waters, and we haven't forgotten the home comforts such as central heating and CD/DVD players! All our skippers are qualified sailing instructors. Clients can therefore get involved in the technical aspects of sailing the yachts, or just simply relax and enjoy the fabulous scenery of the Firth of Clyde with its many islands.
